CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Early voting will take place starting Thursday, June 18 in the Office of Voter Registration during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday until Saturday, August 1. The Voter Registration Office will also be open on two Sundays, July 19 and 26, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., as well as two Saturdays, July 25 and August 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is located at 120 7th St NE, City Hall Annex, First Floor.
Curbside voting will be available for qualified voters, such as those with disabilities and voters who are over 65.
Registration for the general election closes on Friday, July 24.
Any voter who wishes to request a mail ballot may do so by submitting a Vote by Mail Application to the Voter Registration Office by Friday, July 24 at 5:00 p.m.
All polling locations will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, August 4.
Offices will be closed for holidays on June 19 and July 3.
