UWGC is honored to help uplift local businesses such as these that help make the Greater Charlottesville community and economy vibrant and strong. These businesses also bring products, services, employment and livelihood to local families. The grants will be used to promote the businesses’ growth and/or sustainment, which will include purchasing equipment and supplies, hiring staff, and investments in operations and/or promotions.
These awards were given out at the Minority Business Alliance Gala: The Golden Hour on Friday, October 9. Markiana Smith, our engagement and belonging manager, hosted the awards alongside her Envision Radio cohost Price Thomas.
