Sounds of summer with Boxed Lunch Band in Charlottesville
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Experience the final Sounds of Summer of the season. Join us on Sunday, August 9, from 12:30–3:30 p.m. at Forest Hills Park for the second and final installment of the Summer Concert Series, featuring indie pop and rock music from local favorites Boxed Lunch Band.
Relax in the park while the kids enjoy bounce houses, a waterslide, and the Forest Hills splash pad. Enjoy free food* from multiple vendors: Mediterranean and Turkish dishes from Otto, hot dogs from Street Dog, and burgers and sandwiches from Twisted Provisions. Top it off with free shaved ice from Kona Ice as you take in the end-of-summer sounds of Boxed Lunch Band.
This event is sponsored by Bama Works and presented in partnership with the Kicks and Cuts: Back 2 School Bash, a way to gear up for the school year and mark the close of summer in one afternoon.
