This holiday season The Daily Progress will again present a series of stories profiling 12 Central Virginia residents who in their jobs or other pursuits make notable contributions to the community. We’re seeking nominations from our readers in choosing “A Distinguished Dozen.”

If you know of someone who you think deserves recognition because his or her efforts are “Making a Difference in Central Virginia,” please consider nominating him or her. Deadline for nominations is Friday, Nov. 13. You can find details below.

Rules

NOMINEES MUST BE RESIDENTS OF CHARLOTTESVILLE OR ALBEMARLE, BUCKINGHAM, FLUVANNA, GREENE, LOUISA, MADISON, NELSON OR ORANGE COUNTIES.NO FAXES OR PHONE CALLS, PLEASE. NOMINATIONS ALSO MAY BE EMAILED TO JRECTOR@DAILYPROGRESS.COM.
