Graduating Class

Senior year is intended to be the last hurrah before students begin the next phase of their lives. For many, it’s the last time they will see childhood friends. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the seniors of the 2020-2021 school year have not had the same opportunities to enjoy it. Whether it is the shuffling and shortening of sports seasons, or the cancellation of traditionally marquee events, this year has been a letdown for the graduating class.

The fall and winter months of senior year are characterized by the last leg of the college search and application process. However, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s senior class has faced unprecedented challenges in their search for higher education. From the absence of in-person tours to relaxed testing requirements and adjusting to online learning, this college admissions cycle is shaping up to be quite possibly the most tumultuous ever.
