From the archives: The 2011 Pulaski tornado
On April 8, 2011, the most destructive tornado in the history of the New River Valley descended on the southwest part of the town of Pulaski, damaging hundreds of homes, causing more than $5 million in property damage and injuring eight people.

The tornado that hit the town of Pulaski on April 8, 2011, caused damage to at least 300 homes with a total property damage of more than $5 million. There were eight injuries, but no fatalities.
