PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to the provisions of Articles 16-2 and 18 of the Greene County Zoning Ordinance and Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended the Greene County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the County Meeting Room at the Greene County Administration Building located at 40 Celt Road in Stanardsville. Public participation will be available remotely via telephone and/or electronic means. Detailed instructions for the remote participation will be provided on the Greene County Website (www.greenecountyva.gov) prior to the public hearing. These hearings will be hosted live to consider the following request: Kenneth Tatum/Crimson Rock Capital, LLC. request the rezone of 40 acres (a portion of 84.94 acre parcel) from R-1, Residential to A-1, Agricultural and a special use permit for tourist lodging for 144 units, and accessory uses to include a restaurant, a pool, a spa, and a meeting facility. The parcel is identified as TMP# 37-(A)-67, located at 514 Celt Road and is approximately 84.94 acres. The Greene County Future Land Use Map designates this parcel as "Rural Area ".
