PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to the provisions of Article 18 of the Greene County Zoning Ordinance and Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended the Greene County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. Public participation will be available remotely via telephone and/or electronic means. Detailed instructions for the remote participation will be provided on the Greene County Website (www.greenecountyva.gov) prior to the public hearing. This hearing will be hosted live to consider the following request: Borderline, LLC/Shimp Engineering are requesting a rezone of 13.95 acres TMP# 65-(A)-47 and 65-(A)-48 from B-3, Business Highway and High Intensity with proffers to R-2, Residential District and B-3, Business Highway and High Intensity to establish a single-family cluster and commercial subdivision. The applicant is requesting 6.73 acres to be rezoned from B-3 Business Highway and High Intensity to R-2, Residential. The applicant is requesting to remove the proffers on the remaining 7.22 acres currently zoned B-3, Business Highway and High Intensity. These parcels are located on Seminole Trail South in the area of the Greene County/Albemarle County Line. The Greene County Future Land Use Map designates these parcels as "Mixed Use Residential" (RZ#20-001) Information regarding these projects may be reviewed in Room 226 of the Greene County Administration Building, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Greene County Planning Department
