PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE GREENE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS The Greene County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the following items at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. This hearing will be hosted live in the County Meeting Room at 40 Celt Road, Stanardsville, Virginia. Public participation will be available remotely via telephone and/or electronic means. Detailed instructions for remote participation will be provided on the Greene County Website (www.greenecountyva.gov) prior to the public hearing. Public Hearing Pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.2-2507 (A) the Greene County Board of Supervisors intends to amend its budget to adjust the aggregate amount to be appropriated during the current fiscal year for an appropriation which is in excess of one percent of the total expenditures shown on the current adopted budget. Public comment is invited to address consideration of a resolution authorizing a supplemental appropriation of $1,729,131 to the Fiscal Year 2021 budget for CARES Coronavirus Relief Funds. The State received funding based on population and has allocated $1,729,131 to the County of Greene. These funds can be used for qualifying COVID-19 related expenses incurred from March 1, 2020 to December 30, 2020. A supplemental appropriation will be appropriated in Fiscal Year 2021. Additional information is available for review in the Office of the County Administrator, located in the Greene County Administration Building, Stanardsville, Virginia, Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
